Philipp Pusch Photographer
is a series of installations created by Berlin based artist Philipp Pusch. Using discarded materials collected from his travels of south east Asia, he creates a portal transporting the viewer to a dimension where one can visualize the idea of creation through destruction.
While observing these pieces, ones focus can quickly be drawn to the breathtaking views of rugged landscapes, the softness of the cerulean skies, and azul oceans ; but after taking a deeper look, the attention is brought to the negative spaces created by the mindless disposal of human consumption.
Both the installation and photographs represent the juxtaposition of the fleeting beauty we see today and take for granted, only to be left with nothing.
The series was exhibited during
48H Neukölln at Kindl Brauerei, Berlin.
